Refillable Polymer pH Combination Electrode

A rugged general purpose Refillable pH Electrode ideal for use by non-skilled operators or where physical demands are high.

The refillable option extends the lifetime of the electrode when compared to the Gel Filled option E8080.

This electrode does not require the use of a separate reference electrode and is refillable with E8067 Filling Solution.

With a 12mm inert and rugged body with a removable bulb protector the E8089 pH combination electrode can be used in applications where an electrode arm and holder are not practical. The electrode is particularly suited for use with portable pH meters where the sample is measured whilst hand holding the electrode.

The removable screw-on bulb protector is easily taken off to allow electrode cleaning. The ceramic annular reference junction provides a good contact with the sample to provide excellent stability. The Glass bulb is of the same low resistance glass used by research electrodes ensuring a fast response.

The E8089 Refillable pH Combination Electrode comes complete with a 1 metre fixed cable and a BNC connector. This means the electrode is compatible with all EDT pH meters and most modern alternatives of different Brands.

Calibration is normally performed using two pH buffer solutions and a temperature probe for Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC).
