Environmental Analysis
Measuring Water quality is the key to improving our environment. Our products enable you to check and quantify for common pollutants such as Nitrate, Ammonium, Phosphate and monitor Dissolved Oxygen, pH and TDS quickly and accurately.
Determination of Elements in Water
With a QP459 Ion Meter and Ion Selective and Dissolved Oxygen Electrodes most of the key pollutants and nutrients in water such as Nitrate, Ammonium, Phosphate and Potassium can be measured quickly and accurately.
IONs in Water
The measurement of IONs in water is similar to taking a pH reading. You require two standard solutions an ION Meter and an ISE. There are around 25 different IONs that can be measured in this way. We provide simple methods for each.
pH/Conductivity & Dissolved Oxygen
These are the most common parameters used in water testing. They all require different electrodes. We advise on the correct electrode and Meter choices to match the many types of common water and waste water samples.
Continuous Monitoring
EDT directION solid state sensors lend themselves to continuous monitoring applications. The correct choice of Reference electrode and the use of rugged industrial sensors or miniaturised solid state electrodes is crucial to the success of in line analysis.
Potassium in Water
A simple test to determine the ppm level of Potassium using a QP459 Ion Meter and Potassium ISE.
Iodide in Water
Using an Iodide ISE is the only low cost way to determine Iodide in water accurately. The concentration is displayed directly in ppm units.
Fluoride in Water
Our drinking water is dosed with Fluoride to help prevent tooth decay. Measurement is performed using a Fluoride ISE.
Cyanide in Water
Cyanide remains a significant pollutant caused by industrial pollution. It is easily measured using a cyanide ISE and QP459 Ion Meter.
Chloride in Water
Salt or Chloride levels are measured to monitor corrosiveness, softener efficiency or for a variety of environmental reasons
Bromide in Water
This is a simple and low cost test using a 3271 Bromide Ion Selective Electrode and a QP459 Ion Meter
