Polymer Bodied pH Combination Electrode With Fixed Protective Skirt

A rugged general purpose gel filled pH electrode ideal for use by non-skilled operators or where physical demands are high.

This electrode does not require the use of a separate reference electrode and is non refillable and maintenance free.

With a 12mm inert and rugged body with a Fixed Protective Skirt the E8080NS pH combination electrode can be used in applications where an electrode arm and holder are not practical. The electrode is particularly suited for use with portable pH meters where the sample is measured whilst hand holding the electrode.

If you are after an alternative with a removable skirt the E8080 is ideal.

The ceramic annular reference junction provides a good contact with the sample to provide excellent stability. The Glass bulb is of the same low resistance glass used by research electrodes ensuring a fast response.

The E8080NS pH combination electrode comes complete with a 1 metre fixed cable and a BNC connector. This means the electrode is compatible with all EDT pH meters and most modern alternatives of a different brand.

Calibration is normally performed using two pH buffer solutions and a temperature probe for Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC).
