pH Glass Mini Half-Cell Electrode With 1 Metre Cable

The pH Mini Half Cell electrode from EDT directION is the latest in the mini ISE range enabling measurements of small samples or for continuous monitoring applications.

All the mini ISE range requires a Reference electrode to make a measurement. The Glass pH sensor tip is 5mm in diameter and 10mm long and has the same typical performance of the E8082 pH half-cell Electrode.

Most pH analysis is performed using combination electrodes. The practise of using two separate electrodes does provide a greater likelihood of accuracy. The separate reference has a larger reservoir of filling solution and a larger junction leading to greater stability and longer lifetime. In addition when combination electrodes fail due to the reference failure the sensor is immediately rendered useless. Using Half-cells allows the operator to replace the faulty unit and retain the working unit.

The pH Mini sensor comes with a metre of screened cable with free wire ends. Connectors are available on request, this allows for use with any meter.

EDT provide a complete range of buffers allowing for accurate analysis. These are available as 500ml Buffer Solutions or as capsules to be dissolved in de-ionised water.
