Electrode Storage Solution (500ml)

This storage solution is suitable for pH electrodes, pH combination electrodes and reference electrodes.

A common error is to store pH electrodes in pH buffers. Unfortunately the difference in Ionic strength between these and inner reference electrolytes is significant in causing migration of the electrolyte from the electrode. This leads to erratic reference performance and potential reference blockage as the silver ions precipitate in the junction.

For optimum use the electrode should be rinsed with water after use and stored in Electrode Storage Solution. Supplied in a leak-proof 500ml container.
