Data Wizard For Series 4 Meters (Software)

The Data Wizard for Series 4 Meters is required to enable data stored in the internal memory of the meters to be downloaded directly into Microsoft Excel for manipulation, storage or printing.

Unlike the physical DK400 Kit, purchasing this product grants access to a ZIP file containing the EDT directION Data Wizard. Upon purchase this file will be downloadable - you will then need to extract the files to run the application.

Please note: to connect the Series 4 Meter to the software you will still need to connect the meter to your PC via the Micro USB on the meter (a cable is not provided in this product but is provided in the Data Kit For Series 4 Meters)

Without the Data Wizard it is not possible to extract data from the internal memory files*. The QP instruments output CSV data files. You will therefore need to have a CSV file created & ready to select when prompted in the application. The tutorial below shows how to create a csv file & then write to it using the data wizard.

*Files can be viewed and deleted on QP instruments without the data wizard.
